Our first Con O’Neill VIP bus tour was enjoyed by VIP guests and staff alike.
We were joined by representative of organisations that supported getting Journey East tours and website off the ground on our inaugural bus tour of the historic sites that played pivotal roles in the story of forgotten Gaelic Lord, Con O’Neill.
Led by Journey East’s Brian Ervine, we took our guests on a bus tour through the former flatlands that are now east Belfast and up onto the rolling hills of Castlereagh, where the ancient Lord once ruled supreme.
After Brian’s explanations of the history of Con O’Neill, and a song written and sung by Brian to commemorate this forgotten Gaelic lord, we returned our VIP guests to their pickup spot beside Belfast city hall.
