Bunchúrsaí Core Courses
Our core class programme spans six levels, structured to support six years of learning. The programme guides learners from complete beginner level to advanced level, supporting continuous language development, confidence and fluency at each stage.

Bunrang Beginners
Glantosaitheoirí Complete Beginners
Level: Beginners 1
For complete beginners and those with very little Irish. Learners will be introduced to basic vocabulary, everyday phrases, and simple sentence structures, with a strong focus on speaking and listening from the start. No prior knowledge is required.

Feabhasaitheoirí Improvers
Level: Beginners 2
For those who completed our Complete Beginners course or have very basic Irish who want to build confidence and fluency. It develops vocabulary, sentence structure, and pronunciation, with an emphasis on using Irish in practical, real-life situations.

Meánrang Intermediate
Meánrang Íochtarach Lower Intermediate
Level: Intermediate 1
For those who have completed our Beginner courses or who have moved beyond the basics and can use simple Irish with some confidence. It focuses on developing greater fluency and accuracy, expanding vocabulary, and improving sentence structure through practical conversation and real-life topics.

Meánrang Uachtarach Upper Intermediate
Level: Intermediate 2
For those who have completed our Lower Intermediate course or who have a strong foundation in Irish who want to communicate more naturally and confidently. It develops more complex language, improves fluency, and deepens understanding through sustained conversation, discussion and extended use of Irish.

Ardrang Íochtarach Lower Advanced

For those who have completed our Intermediate courses or confident speakers who want to refine their Irish and express themselves with greater accuracy and nuance. The class focuses on advanced structures, richer vocabulary and extended discussion on a wide range of topics.

Cúrsaí Eile Other Courses
Our specialty classes offer flexible ways to engage with Irish beyond the core programme. While core classes follow a structured path, these sessions provide additional opportunities to practise, explore, and enjoy the language through activities such as conversation, singing and reading.
They support learners in applying what they’ve learned, building confidence, and experiencing Irish as a living, social language in a relaxed and supportive environment.
Meánrang Cluastuisceana Intermediate Listening
Level: Intermediate
This class is designed for intermediate learners who want to improve their understanding of spoken Irish. Running alongside the core language classes, it focuses on developing listening skills through exposure to natural speech, varied accents and real-life contexts. Learners build confidence in following conversations and understanding Irish as it is spoken.

Ceardlann Ghramadaí Grammar Workshop
Level: Intermediate
A practical monthly workshop designed to strengthen your understanding of grammar and build confidence in using it correctly. Each session focuses on key structures, with clear explanations, guided examples and plenty of opportunities for practice and feedback.

GCSE
Level: Intermediate
This class is designed for students preparing to sit their GCSE in Irish.
