Bunaithe i dTrioblóidí Thuaisceart Éireann\, díríonn na dánta ar íospartaigh aonair\, ag tabhairt guth do shaolta ar cuireadh i dtost i machnamh cumhachtach ar an bhás\, ar sheasmhacht\, agus ar riachtanas an chuimhneacháin. \nMar sin féin\, tugann sé trasghearradh cothrom soiléir de na daoine a maraíodh sna Trioblóidí\, ó gach pobal amhail La Mon\, Inis Ceithleann\, Kingsmills\, Loch Inis Oileáin agus Baile Uí Mhurchú. Léirítear nádúr cuimsitheach an leabhair leis an fhormáid neamhghnách ina scríobhtar gach cuid i mBéarla agus i nGaeilge araon. \nAtrocity Ársa is a bold and unflinching collection by Dr Ciarán Ó Coigligh\, exploring memory\, violence\, and the endurance of truth. Rooted in the Northern Ireland Troubles\, the poems centre on individual victims\, giving voice to silenced lives in a powerful meditation on loss\, resistance\, and the necessity of remembrance. \nHowever\, it gives a clear balanced cross section of those who were killed in the Troubles\, from all communities such as at La Mon\, Enniskillen\, Kingsmills\, Loughinisland and Ballymurphy. The inclusive nature of the book is highlighted by the unusual format which writes each section in both English and Irish.
